Citech sets up US-based Subsidiary in Twin Cities, Minnesota

Citech, an emerging market leader in the delivery of real-time human movement bio-monitoring & GPS tracking systems, today announced it had established a US-based Company, Citech Holdings (USA) Inc, to prepare for its launch into the North American markets.
President & Founder, Chris Nicholls, said it was necessary to have a physical US presence in its primary market to provide the necessary infrastructure, administration and support services for its sales.
“Given that we have an existing business relationship with our US contractors, the most attractive option for us at this time is to locate our Company’s US Headquarters in the Twin Cities, Minnesota,” Mr. Nicholls said.
The Australian Company, Citech Research Pty Ltd, will retain its research & development facilities in Adelaide, South Australia where it utilizes the combined resources of the Flinders Biomedical Engineering Division associated with the Flinders Medical Center; Systems Design Services at the Adelaide University Research Park and the Ian Wark Research Institute located 7.5 miles north of the city of Adelaide.
Mr. Nicholls said Australia would continue to represent a major R&D focus for the Company given the cost benefits, expertise and quality control measures already in place.
“We have an excellent team of highly skilled engineers with world-class expertise in the biomedical, application software, signal processing, and the electronics industry at our Australian-based research & development facilities.
“However, the time has now come to increase our visibility in our primary markets and engage suitably qualified people around the globe who have the respect, track experience and credibility to secure market penetration and capture market share,” Mr. Nicholls said.
