Citech Wins Australian IT Secrets 2005 Award

Australian IT Secrets Award

Citech, an emerging market leader in the delivery of real-time human movement bio-monitoring & GPS tracking systems, was today applauded for its technical innovation, after winning 2nd place in Australia’s prestigious Secrets of Australian IT Innovation Communications Classification.

The competition, now in its fourth year, recognizes and fosters technology innovators across the nation to ensure Australia continues as a producer and an early and widespread adopter of the Information Communications Technologies (ICT) that are transforming businesses and enhancing the nation’s overall competitiveness.

The competition is an initiative of the Committee Marketing ICT of Australia which is made up of representatives of the Australian Government, state and territory governments, industry associations and research bodies.

Cisco Systems, Dell and Centric Minds are major sponsors of the competition with assistance also provided by state and territory governments.

Citech President & Founder, Chris Nicholls, today welcomed the Communications Award saying the highly sought after national award was recognition that the Company was destined for a bright future.
