Company Conducts Successful Media Broadcast Tests at Australian Open 2007

14 Feb, 2007

Citech Research, an emerging market leader in the delivery of real-time human movement bio-monitoring & GPS tracking systems, today confirmed that it had successfully conducted broadcast system tests of its wireless technology at the Australian Open Grand Slam tennis event in Melbourne, Australia, last month.

Citech President, Chris Nicholls, stated that transmission testing was conducted throughout the Melbourne Park facilities to ensure that future product applications in international tennis would cope with the impact of  heavy wireless data and media broadcast traffic during such global sporting events.

"We are very pleased with the broadcast results given the potential problems which could occur when the television stations are broadcasting and wireless data is being transmitted in real-time." Mr Nicholls said.

The transmission tests were an important factor in the development of the Citech products which are due for commercial release later this year.
