BioPatch - Health Care
bioPatch™ is a small healthcare device which provides real-time monitoring of patients and their exact location in and out of a hospital thereby improving the quality of care and mobility for the users.
Emergency department (ED) physicians often are uncertain about where in a hospital to triage patients with suspected cardiac complications. Many patients are triaged unnecessarily to intensive or intermediate cardiac care units.
Medical rescue teams are also impacted by the need to provide on-site triage for pre-hospital care.
Citech’s bioPatch™ innovative product will enable hospitals to achieve significant cost savings by automating patient clinical biomonitoring systems, reduce staff levels required to manually collect and record patient physiological data, and reduce the need for expensive monitoring equipment.
